NSWA Rural Ambulance Stations

Year: 2018 - Ongoing

Location: Various locations within regional NSW

Since 2016, DJRD has worked with NSW Health Infrastructure and NSW Ambulance on the design of several Ambulance Stations across rural and regional NSW, as part of the RAIR 1 & 2 programs (Rural Ambulance Infrastructure Reconfiguration).

The RAIR program encompasses the design of stations across NSW that will provide modern facilities with each site tailored to the needs of the local community and paramedics. Depending on site-specific requirements, stations vary from large stations incorporating administrative, education, and fleet maintenance centres with high numbers of vehicles, to smaller buildings that incorporate the station and fewer vehicles.
